2023 puppies get ready for their moment in the AHS Puppy Bowl spotlight.
The Austin Humane Society is back with one of the most adorable and heartwarming events of the year – the Puppy Bowl! Scheduled for February 10, 2024, this event promises to be as fun (and cute!) as ever.
We recently caught up with Georgie Chadwick, Hospital Manager of Firehouse Westlake. Firehouse has been a passionate supporter of the Austin Humane Society for over 10 years. The Puppy Bowl is one of our favorite annual events.
“I think the best thing about the event is the puppies! I mean, who doesn’t love hanging around with adorable puppies?” The Puppy Bowl is indeed a delightful spectacle that brings joy to people of all ages. It features puppies frolicking on a miniature football field, attempting to make their way from one end to the other.
One of the unique aspects of the Puppy Bowl is the community it fosters. Georgie mentioned, “I just love how many people show up with their pets. Everyone’s in a really good mood and it’s a fantastic atmosphere.”
Come find us at the Firehouse booth. We’ll have a “bark bar” (puppy treats) and lots of pet swag.
Trevor Scott from CBS’s morning show, We Are Austin, will be at the event again this year. “His presence adds an extra layer of fun,” says Georgie.

Speaking of the cause, the Austin Humane Society is at the heart of this event. Georgie highlighted the event’s goal saying, “All the puppies get adopted, and that’s what makes it even more special. Supporting Austin Humane Society means contributing to their programs, like their capital campaign, which helps provide a better life for animals in need.”
