Dr. Faught and Gage discuss arthritis in dogs and cats.  Arthritis is the breaking down of cartilage that covers and protect bone joints.

Symptoms Include:
- Show stiffness or discomfort when getting up from a lying-down position
- Appear to have stiff, swollen or sore joints
- Suffer loss of flexibility in their joints
- Be hesitant to jump, run or climb stairs

If your dog or cat are showing any of these symptoms don't hesitate to give us a call to discuss any further treatments.  If you have any questions for Dr. Faught don't hesitate to send your video message to AskTheVet@KXAN.com.  Hope to hear from you soon!
